Our roller garage door systems are guaranteed for a period of 2 years. Depending on the specification of door supplied some elements may have a longer warranty. For example, our “Gold” doors are supplied with Somfy control units, motors, sensors and remotes. These items have a 5 year warranty. The guarantee includes parts and labour to repair / replace parts covered by the warranty.
Exclusions: The warranty / guarantee does not include the following: Batteries, bulbs, fuses, sacrificial items (safety straps / safety brakes), consumables, weathering, wear and tear, damage from incorrect use or negligence, accidental damage, malicious damage or scratches, dents or scuffs (howsoever caused).
Conditions: Chelmsford Roller Doors Limited (and it’s directors) are not liable for any fault resulting from wear and tear, wilful or accidental damage, modification, improper maintenance, relocation, power surge, negligence, adjustments made without our written consent or failure to follow instructions (written or verbal).
Using the Warranty: In the unlikely event of any issue with your roller door, please contact us by email (info@chelmsfordrollerdoors.co.uk), with a description of the problem and the best number to contact you on. Most issues can be resolved simply by following some troubleshooting steps that we will provide. In the event that we need to visit to carry out a further inspection, we will ask you to book and pay for a service visit (from £80+vat). If the problem is caused by a part(s) covered by this warranty we will repair or replace the appropriate part(s) and carry out a thorough service of your door.
