Although we advertise three ranges of roller garage door, each door is designed and made to your exact requirements, so you can mix and match features or options as required. What options are available?

Frame and Curtain Colour

Our bespoke roller garage doors and frames are available in a range of standard colours and finishes. On top of this, we are able to match the door and frame to any RAL colour, allowing you to match the colour of your front door for example, or maybe you just fancy a bright pink garage door, it’s up to you.

Slat Size

All large or double doors must be fitted with 77mm slats, but single doors usually utilise a more compact slat size, 55mm. If you’d like 77mm slats on a single door for their increased rigidity then thats fine too. We’ve written a brief guide to help you decide.

Control Unit

We generally use two types of control unit. Our “Silver” doors are supplied with a more basic, “Hold to Close” control unit. “Gold” and “Diamond” doors are supplied with a Somfy Rollixo RTS control unit, which features fully automated closing, a laser optical safety system built into the door edge, a built in alarm and courtesy light. We have access to many different types of control unit, so if you’d prefer something else, let us know. You can even choose which side of the door you would like it installed.

Tubular Motor

Roller doors are powered by a tubular motor, fitted inside the spindle of the door. We supply a good quality motor appropriate for the size and weight of your door. We can also provide an upgraded Somfy motor, which is faster and smoother. This comes as standard with a “Gold” or “Diamond” roller door.

Manual Override

As standard, we include the price of installing an internal manual override, allowing you to manually open the roller door from inside the garage in the event of a power cut. If you have no other way to access the garage, or would simply prefer one, we are able to supply and install a lockable, external override instead.

Accessories

There are many accessories available, depending on your choice of control unit. It is possible to have additional operating switches installed inside the garage or house or extra remote controls for all the family. It’s even possible to connect the door to the internet to allow control away from the home. If you live in an area prone to power cuts, you can also choose to have a battery backup unit installed.
