Additional Safety Sensors
On top of the safety upgrades that a gold door includes, diamond doors feature an additional pair of photoelectric safety cells. This means that they are actively scanning for obstacles in the path of the door, and step in to stop the door before contact occurs.
Battery Back-Up
Our diamond doors feature a battery back up system that allows the door to be opened as normal in the event of a power cut. Much more convenient than using a manual winding handle as required on our other doors.
Fully Automated
As with our gold doors, diamond doors are fully motorised and automated. No more fiddling with keys and locks, or lifting heavy up and over doors. At the press of a button the door effortlessly retracts into a neat enclosure mounted above the door. To close the door, simply press the button and the door automatically closes down and secures your garage. Our gold and diamond doors benefit from an upgraded “Somfy” control and safety system. An optical sensor built into the door edge detects contact with obstacles and reverses the door automatically.
Upgraded Motor
As well as the upgraded Somfy control system, our diamond doors also include an upgraded Somfy motor. This motor upgrade allows the door to open more swiftly and smoothly, compared to the standard motor that most door suppliers provide at this price point. You’ll also benefit from a 5 year warranty on the motor.
Built in Alarm System
For your security and peace of mind, our Diamond doors also include an integrated intruder alarm. Any attempt to open the door would result in the alarm activating, deterring would be intruders and alerting you to their presence.
Courtesy Light
The Somfy control unit supplied with our Diamond doors also features a courtesy light function. When the door is opened the light turns on, illuminating the door area, assisting with parking a vehicle, or to find that needed item in the garage after dark.
Wide Range of Colours Available

Expanded Control Options
Along with the control unit in the garage, we supply two remote control handsets with each of our doors. This enables you to open the garage door without getting out of your vehicle or from inside your home. If you need more handsets, up to 25 can be paired to your door. The upgraded control system also allows the use of wireless wall switches, to enable operation of the garage door from inside the home, and wireless keypads, to allow the garage door to be opened with a pin code. Optionally the door can be made “smart”, by linking to the Somfy smart home system. It can then be controlled away from the home, perhaps to allow a parcel to be delivered to the garage.
Insulated, Double Skinned Aluminium Slats
All of our doors feature double skinned aluminium slats. Incredibly robust, each slat is also filled with a special foam which helps to insulate your garage. This reduces the transfer of sound or heat through the door.

Diamond doors are available from £1795, fully inclusive of fitting. This is the actual price quoted for the majority of single doors, but depending on the size and options you choose it can vary. We will happily measure up, discuss options and provide you with a fixed price quotation.
